To help students transfer, we have articulation agreements with many 2-year AA architecture programs. This includes Hillsborough College, Miami Dade College, Northwest Florida College, Plan Beach College, Tallahassee State College, and more. For students from non-articulated programs, the evaluation of a non-accredited architecture degree is a structured process that carefully examines an applicant’s prior education to determine how it compares to the content, rigor, and outcomes expected in the FAMU SAET Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies (BSAS). Additional details are available online (https://saet.famu.edu/about/degreeevaluation.php)
The SAET has established a process for resolving Grade Disputes and Non-Academic Disputes that involve suspected breaches of the School’s Policy on Academic Honesty and Ethical Conduct. This process ensures a fair and thorough assessment of the Grade Appeal or Non-Academic Grievance, while keeping the number of people involved to a minimum. Faculty members are advised to try to settle any issues with the student directly and promptly.
The SAET procedures and practices governing student matriculation are contained in this document. All students should review.
