On March 2-3, the FAMU School of Architecture and Engineering Technology (SAET) will host a Housing Resilience Roundtable bringing together leading researchers, practitioners, and faculty to advance knowledge on building codes, material performance, and equitable housing resilience. Hosted in partnership with the University of Florida's Florida Institute for Built Environment Resilience (FIBER) and supported by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), this two-day event explores how regulatory frameworks, construction practices, and community planning can better protect vulnerable populations from natural hazards. Students, professionals, and community members are invited to join this critical conversation on creating resilient housing futures.
